Franklin was found after 2 days!

This one was a quick recovery—but we’ll gladly take it.

Franklin, an indoor-only cat, slipped out on Aug 23. Less than 24 hours later, he was spotted on the owner’s doorbell camera at 5:45 AM. Because Franklin is curious and brave, I felt confident he’d return again.

I advised the owner to check around 4 AM or periodically through the night—and sure enough, Franklin was waiting at the door.

Takeaway: Cats often return to the spot where they escaped, but many families aren’t ready to catch that moment. A doorbell camera can make all the difference.
